Native American Studies - The Survival of Nature's Children

This two day seminar will encompass a look at the true history of indigenous peoples in the land base known, today, as the USA, perspectives on reservations and life thereupon, the education of young natives through the US government, abuse of native labor for the weapons industry and energy production, political imprisonment, and current issues of various indigenous nations.The course will include personal accounts of encounters with Lakota, Cherokee, and Apache people.
